A CHANGE IS A COMIN'

In this new era of handouts and a prevailing attitude of let's see how much money we can get from the government, could this be the "change" we should expect to see?

Scary isn't it, Jackie??? I don't know what has happened to our country. George and I both have worked hard our whole lives, have obeyed the rules and laws and always paid our own way.. We never ever expected the Government to take care of us. We worked hard to take care of ourselves.

NOW--we may end up giving OUR hard-earned money to others. Well--I don't mind helping those people who are less-fortunate than me, but I want to make those choices myself and not be told by our government that I HAVE to do it.

I don't want MORE government running my life. Look how effectively our government has run things (Post Office, IRS, NASA, etc. etc.etc.). They are HORRIBLE at running things. IF we continue to grow bigger government and taking money from the wealthy and giving it to the poor--since the poor think they 'deserve' it, well who knows what will happen to our country in the long run???

Sorry I got on my band box... I just got to thinking about your post. Change??? We all want change--but this???? I think not!
